SELF CATERING Seapoint self catering is un-graded. We can accommodate up to 6 persons within 3 bedrooms with bathrooms, large lounge/diner, large kitchen. Prices from £400 per week.
We are set in a prime location at the entrance to Mudeford Quay in the fishing village of Mudeford which is near to the historic priory town of Christchurch Dorset on the south coast.
We offer off street parking during your stay up until 10am on departure day.
Seapoint is a few minutes walk away from Mudeford Quay and sandy Avon Beach.
LOCAL ACTIVITIES Many activities can be enjoyed in picturesque Mudeford, and is the ideal place for coastal walks, bird watching, wild life. Excellent sailing, boating, water skiing fishing off the quay or game and coarse fishing on the nearby royalty can be found.
Children can go 'Crabbing' from the Quay, suitable lines are available from the local shops.
In Christchurch Harbour there is opportunities to Kite-Surf, Wind-Surf, Dinghy Sail and Kayaking.
Christchurch Kayaking can arrange kayaking day-trips, coaching and coastal expedition.
Good food is available at 'The Haven' Pub on Mudeford Quay, just a few minutes walk. While further a field there is 'The Sandpiper' or 'Ship in Distress' just about a 10 to 15 minutes walk.
At the quay there are; Mudeford Fish Stall, Highcliffe Sailing Club, boats for sea-fishing trips and the ferry to Mudeford sand bank for access to the beach huts and Hengistbury Head. High speed boat rides available with Adventure Voyages. taking you to 'The Needles' or 'Old Harry's Rocks'
The MCA training centre is just a short walk (15mins) away, along Avon beach. Special prices accommodation available.
Nearby are hotels catering for weddings and other functions: Christchurch Harbour Hotel, Highcliffe Castle and The Chewton Glen just a short drive away
A bus services, Wilts & Dorset X1 and X2 and Shamrock 111 buses operate to and from Mudeford to Lymington, Christchurch and Bournemouth passes Seapoint every half hour. A train station is just north of Christchurch town centre and the international airport is just 15minues by taxi.
